- =========================
-
- IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to use ArcWeb via any TCP/IP networking software at
- all, you also need the fetchers appropriate to that networking software.
- These are under development and may be released by me, or by others. This
- version will let you browse HTML files on your hard disc.
-
-
- If this message arrived by e-mail then:

- my RISC OS World Wide Web browser.
-
- This is the last version which will be announced via e-mail. Future
- versions will be announced by postings to demon.ip.support.archimedes

-
- Bugs Fixed & Improvements
- =========================
-
- <PRE> is handled again. This ceased working in versions 0.08 and 0.09 for
- no apparent reason. It is also now handled properly.
-
- Rendering of hypertext in headings is fixed (rendering speed has also been
- increased)
-
- You can prevent ArcwebImg and ArcwebLcl from installing icon bar icons,
- which reduces congestion on the icon bar, but then you can't get at their
- configuration windows.
-
- Delayed image loading partially implemented (to get the images on a page
- which has had the image loading delayed, you need to unset the delay image
- option (on the options menu) and then 'Reload').
-
- The URL of a document is shown in the title of the document window.
-
- The URL of the currently being fetched document is stored in the information
- window for the document which launched the fetch.
-
-
- Known Bugs
- ==========
-
- Known bugs can be found at http://louis.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~snb94r/arcweb.html
-
- There appears to be a problem with SparkFS archives, regarding the translation
- to and from . and / characters. Still under investigation.
